The Ethnographic Museum of Morigerati boasts an extensive collection with a permanent exhibition of more than 900 artifacts, furnishings, textiles, tools, and implements associated with the local rural way of life, organized into thematic sections and dating from the late 19th century to the 1960s.
The objects on display, related to the processing of flax and wax — as well as, more generally, to daily life and work, which were strongly influenced by the distinctive landscape features of the geosite’s territory — were collected and preserved by two forward-thinking local women: the sisters Clorinda and Modestina Florenzano, thanks to whom the museum first opened its doors to the public in 1976.
